Number 6 Fuel Oil

Number 6 fuel oil is a high-viscosity residual oil; residual means the material remaining after the more valuable cuts of crude oil have boiled off. The residue may contain various undesirable impurities including 2 percent water and one-half percent mineral soil. This fuel may be known as residual fuel oil (RFO). , Bunker fuel is technically any type of fuel oil used aboard ships. It gets its name from the containers on ships and in ports that it is stored in Crank Case Oil/ used mineral-based is another name for used motor oil or used engine oil. It is the brown-to-black, oily liquid removed from the engine of a motor vehicle when the oil is in need of replacement. Used mineral-based crankcase oil is similar to unused oil except that it contains additional chemicals that are produced or that build up in the oil when it is used as an engine lubricant.

Used Vegetable Oil (UVO)

Used Vegetable Oil (UVO) is increasingly being reused/recycled to produce a vegetable oil fuel. Opportunities for businesses and consumers to recycle used cooking oil has increased. Used cooking oil can be refined into different types of biofuels used for power generation and heating. A significant benefit is that biofuels derived from recycled cooking oil typically burn clean, have a low carbon content and don’t produce carbon monoxide. This helps communities to reduce their carbon footprints. The recycling of cooking oil also provides a form of revenue for restaurants. Cooking oil recycling also results in less used oil being disposed of in drains which can clog sewage lines. Used vegetable oils include Industrial UVO, Yellow Grease, and Brown Grease.

Transmix

Transmix is the product removed from a pipeline system between two separate product batches that cannot be blended with the first or second product. Contamination of a blending of different products such as gas, diesel, kerosene and oils creates transmix. A terminal is the main distribution center for motor fuel. At this location, different types of fuels are continuously pumped through a main pipeline. At times, these types of fuels will blend in the pipeline, for example, when gasoline follows diesel.

Mineral Based Crank Case Oil

Used mineral-based crankcase oil is another name for used motor oil or used engine oil.  This product makes up the bulk of our supply and can be used by : re-refinery’s, burners, asphalt producers , industrial lubricant manufacturing  and more.
